ROA cultivates a supportive and enjoyable environment from which students can learn and express themselves with confidence and peace. We have a culture of understanding and acceptance of individual differences providing learning opportunities for all students to apply core principles of respect and appreciation for others.
The intentionally small student-teacher ratio at our school allows each student to participate in ways they cannot in large schools where they may be lost in the crowd. Each student is well known and personally regarded. An elected Student Council provides representation, leadership, and guidance for activities of interest to all students.
